A huge moon over an Alaskan landscape. I don’t know why, but in Alaska the sky seems so much closer to you than in other places. It’s so big and beautiful. Where do you like to moon gaze?

Oh how I love the scenery in the U.S.A. We have such a beautiful country. Here the light was just right to help the striations show such a depth in the photo. Such a gorgeous place…hotter than blazes some days…but gorgeous!

Isn’t this the cutest little guy, peeking out from the bushes? We encountered him in Mount McKinley National Park. I’m not so sure he’s as happy to see us as we were him!
