Bliss, by O.Z. Livanelli, is a good read about a naive young girl who is condemned to death by her family. I’m a little torn that in some ways it confirms a lot of suspicions that the west has about Muslim countries, but on the other hand these events do still happen – especially in Eastern Turkey. [...]
