After wandering around the ruins of Angkor Wat, it seems rather customary to visit Lake Tonle Sap. This is the largest lake in the country and on our boat we visited many of the Vietnamese tribespeople who live on the water. They basically live on what we would call a house boat or house city. As you float around the area, you can witness what everday life if like for these hardy people. And yes, like the portrait of this dog, there are plenty of animals. I saw one house with a pen for its pigs. I love this white dog sitting amongst the boats. It portrays a certain peacefulness.
