And when we got to Skagway (this was in 1995) it too was jammed with tourists from several cruise ships in port. But - we were staying in a B&B overnight, so by 6PM, all the ships were gone and the town was practically deserted! We and a few other overnighters had the whole place to ourselves and we had a great time!
